I am so thrilled with the line up of prizes I have for the BOM 2014 this year! I am happy to announce the first prize from The Fat Quarter Shop. Chelsey and Kimberly have generously donated a $20 gift certificate for this month's winner. So how do I win do you ask? Well, it's very simple, make this month's January Block, Chilly Silly Snowmen and post it to the flickr group. For an added chance to win, blog about it too! (Send me a link if you take time to blog about it!)
If you won this month's prize what would you like to get? Check out the Fat Quarter Shop's website. They have so much beautiful fabric. If you haven't gotten your fabric for this years BOM, they are a wonderful source for quality fabric. I will be announcing a winner at the end of the month, the same time that February's block will be out.
Talking about fabric, some of you have asked about yardages for the new BOM quilt. A complete listing for fabric can be found under the BOM 2014 tab at the top of my blog. Then check under, 'The Beginning'. There you will find the listing there. Feel free to email me anytime if you have questions. The listing is a guide to help give you direction on picking out your fabrics. This quilt can also be done 'scrappy' and I will direct you how in my postings each month.
Remember to post your pictures! I love to see pictures!! Here are just a few...
Happy Quilting,
Not sure how I missed the beginning...no matter...I'm IN now...my first BOM for 2014 (and maybe my 'only' if I choose to behave myself..lol) but those snowmen just grabbed me! This will be fun!
ReplyDeleteHi! I made my snowmen this month and blogged about them..super duper cute!

I've already blogged about it and made it WRONG the first time. So I've picked it out and will be working on the correct version in the next couple of days. LOVE the first row..can't wait to see the next. Will post the pix when it's finished correctly! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteCiao, io sono italiana, potrei partecipare anch'io a questo BOM giveaway? E' un po' difficile vero?
ReplyDeleteComunque sono davvero molto belli e sicuramente li farò.
I started cutting mine out yesterday, I plan to finish it up by this weekend. I did have a question about heat and bond. I have some stuff in my stash, but was wondering if the heat and bond irons down on both sides, or just one side? The stuff I have is just one side I think.
ReplyDeleteThis BOM is looking so cute I'm joining in (not just for prizes but winning quilt fabric or notions is great too). LOL
ReplyDeleteHow cute this first row is! I was looking for a project for 2014 and one of my readers mentioned your BOM. Thanks for taking the time to do this for us! I've made the first row and uploaded a photo to the Flickr group. My blog post will publish on 1/17 at 6 p.m. Pacific time. I'm looking forward to seeing what we'll be doing for February!
ReplyDeleteCindy....love it, love it, love it...Thanks for your generosity in sharing. I couldn't wait to post the information about it!
ReplyDeleteOnce again Cindy, thanks for sharing your talents...I love the BOM...Leslie
