Did you gather your fabric yet? Remember you will need to gather your background and snowman fabric along with a bunch of scraps or 13 different fat quarters. I am using my Lori Holt Christmas Fabric bundle that I have been coveting a long time. It would be helpful to precut some of your block sections to make putting this quilt together easier. I used a white with 'sparkle stars' for my background. You can use a light colored print, a snowflake fabric, or even a plain gray or blue for your background fabric.
So here's your homework for tomorrow!
Gather your fabric, download the pattern if you haven't had it mailed to you yet. The pattern can be found HERE as an instant PDF download.
Here's the fabric that I gathered for my Snowman On Parade quilt. |
Then precut your background fabric following the patterns directions. |
Pick out your 13 fat quarters or rummage thru your fabric stash.... you can use as many scraps or fat quarters as you want. The scrappier the better.... |
Pre cut the snowman faces and main hat rectangle following the patterns directions. |

Then come back and join in the fun on October 15th, when we begin our QAL.
I look forward to sewing along with you starting tomorrow!
Happy Quilting!
