Single Irish Chain Quilt

I would like to share with you today a project I made for a Christmas gift for my nephew and his sweetie.... it's an Single Irish Chain Quilt. I was inspired by a tutorial I watched by Missouri Quilt... I used a jelly roll and a few yards of cream fabric. It's alternating 9-patch blocks with plain cream squares. Super easy! Block measurements are 6 1/2" (this includes seam allowance).  My dear hubby didn't think the quilt was big enough so I added the piano keys border. (Block pieces measure 2 1/2" x 5", with 5" squares in the corners)  A huge thank you to a follower for sending me her charm pack scraps since I was a few border pieces short!  I quilted a swirly design on the quilt. Backed it with flannel. Super warm and yummy!
Quilt I made for Matt and Alisha for Christmas. I used one jelly roll and a few yards of cream fabric. It went together very quick and easy..... I'm planning on making another one!  This would be a fun way to use up some scraps from other projects.

Alisha with the quilt I made for her and Matt for Christmas!
She's due to have a new little one any day now! I can't wait to meet my new great-niece!

~~The birds were chirping this morning, it sounds like spring!
So I'm having a sale in my Etsy Store~~

Happy quilting!
