Last night was FNSI (Friday Night Sew In) It's easy for me to remember because it was the Friday before I go to quilt quild. I enjoy sewing with my virtual friends and I look forward to seeing what everyone worked on when I get back from my first quild meeting today. Well, maybe not my first meeting... I'm used to doing presentations for guilds and have sat in on many meetings. It's my first guild meeting as an actual member. My friend and I are joining a local guild today. I think it'll be fun to get together with a group of talented ladies who share their love for quilting! Now let me show you what I worked on for FNSI.
Belvedere curled up on my lap and we both fell asleep in the recliner. I really wanted to finish my snowball table topper. I'm hoping to get back to it this afternoon, I am really pleased with the progress I made during FNSI even though I called it an early night.
Thank you again Wendy for an another awesome FNSI! I look forward to sewing along with everyone next month too!
Have a great weekend everyone!

It took forever to trim up my snowball blocks... I had 81 squares to trim. How do you like my pretty pink rotary cutter from Olfa? I love it! It's part of their new Splash line. |
I started to sew my topper together, but started to see cross eyed around eight pm. So I called it a night, put on my nighty nights and joined hubby to watch some TV. |

Wow Candy this is beautiful. I love the colours and fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI’ve had a snowball quilt idea planned for a while but haven’t settled on a snowball size! What size did you cut for your snowballs? It looks close to the size I’m hoping to do for my quilt! Your blue snowballs are beautiful and your runner will be gorgeous! Thank You
ReplyDeleteMy favourite colour choices. Belvedere is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great quilt! I always love it when a quilt gives me a bunch of bonus HSTs!! What are you going to do with yours?? I always sew them together before trimming them off - easier for me.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great table topper made with your left overs...
ReplyDeleteTrimming is very tiresome!!!! You will with a beautiful table topper when sewn together.
ReplyDeleteLove the progress you made on your table topper. Will be very pretty!
