August's Block!

Wow, it's August and I'm a little late to do my posting. August has totally snuck up on me! I should have noticed all the signs, my coneflowers and lilies are in full bloom... the oak tree is starting to drop acorns... Minnesota Shop Hop has begun... and I'm back from vacation! Well it feels like summer is almost over... but the days are warm and it's still flip flop weather! I have so many different kinds of flip flops and I love them all! So for this month's block, we all get to applique a pair of flip flops!  Have fun with them and make them your own. I used fun summer time colors. To embellish the flower I layered two buttons for added color.

This month's pattern is available for FREE HERE! and also HERE

A printable supply list can be found HERE!

Cutting instructions and quilt construction for the quilt can be found HERE!

There's a flicker group!  Please join...Every month post photos of your Quilt Doodle BOM finishes in the BOM flicker group for a chance to win that month's prize! I'm looking forward to seeing all of the different pairs of flip flops! August's prize is sure to please... can't wait to tell you about it on the 15th.

If you want to be added to the email reminder list... send me your email.

The next block pattern will be posted on September 1st!  The winner for the August's block will be announced on September 1st also. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's flip flops! Now onto our winner...

Congratulations!
