Think Ruffles

Ruffles, ruffles, I love ruffles... I had great plans to get all sorts of things done, but time got away from me.  But I did get an ever so cute towel done for my kitchen. St. Patty's day is right around the corner, and I love applique so I came up with a cute little Leprechaun to decorate my kitchen with. Of coarse I added a cute green ruffle to it too! I was surprised as to how quick and easy it was to sew together.
I gathered some left over green fabric and made a cute ruffle for on the bottom of my towel...
I then used some left over binding and used it to trim off the ruffle and make a tie at the top of the towel, (it's sorta ruffles too) I tied it to my fridge...
I like it tied to the handle of my microwave, it's such a festive
addition to my kitchen. Isn't it so cute!
Thank you Mdm Samm and Amy for organizing this fun hop. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's ruffled projects. Now onto my giveaway... I will giveaway 2 PDF copies of my St. Patty's applique to two lucky winners. All you have to do is leave a lovely comment and for a second chance to win let me know if you are a follower. Remember it's hard to win if you are a no-reply blogger! Make sure to leave an email address. I get to share today with all of these talented quilters!
