Ho! Ho! Ho!

It's not too early to start those Christmas Projects and this blog hop will certainly fill you with all sorts of inspiration as to different things you could start on! I haven't done a blog hop in a few months since I was super busy with some pattern designing and my son's graduation. Now that things have settled down a little bit... I though it was time to join another hop and this one sounded like so much fun! Plus, it would give me a little jump start to get some Christmas sewing done... Thank you Carol and Madame Samm for another wonderful hop.

I decided to work on a Santa embroidery mini quilt... the pattern is available on my Craftsy and Etsy shops. I also made a couple of snowman coasters. I like having little things like the coasters on hand for the holidays for gift giving. I just love the striped fabric that I found, I should have bought more! I am partial to stripe fabric, love to use it in binding!

I will be giving the Santa Embroidery PDF pattern away to two lucky winners. I'm using rafflecopter for the giveaway, so for a chance to win, leave me a lovely comment on what you are working on... for extra chances like my facebook page and be a Doodle Blog follower. Wilson and I will choose two winners on the 10th. Good luck!!!

  10. Sadly, I sent most of my fabric home in anticipation of our move in a couple months, so sewing has been limited to a few projects I kept here... Thus, no sewing for this upcoming Christmas. BUT, I am sewing with some Christmas fabric as I'm almost finished sewing the top of a Christmas tree skirt that will be a wedding present for a friend!

  99. I love the embroidery. Two people are going to be thrilled. The coasters are so cute. They would be cute put into a table runner, too. Right now I have several projects in the works - I have a queen size quilt to scallop and bind, a double wedding ring quilt a 90 year old friend made for me that I need to bind (binding is cut but not sewn together), embroidery blocks for a quilt, a shop hop quilt is cut out and ready to applique and stitch, a Dear Jane quilt BOM participation, a Barbara Brackman Civil war BOM at LQS, a cross stitch project for my bro and his wife for Christmas. And my daughter just asked me to knit some dish cloths for her. Yep, I'm retired on disability. So, much doesn't get finished. Thanks for participating and sharing your wonderful creativity and being generous with your giveaway. Hope Winston is a genius when it comes to picking an appreciative recipient.
