A Sweet Little Birdie

I had a wonderful day the other day spent in my sewing room/studio. I felt like I made a lot of progress on several projects. I designed this little bird last spring but just am now getting around to getting it done and the pattern written. I am in love with this sweet little bird. I like to embroider while I'm sitting in front of the TV. It's also a good project to take while traveling in the car. The flying geese border was a breeze to do and I was able to complete my project in an afternoon after I got the embroidery done. This particular sample will be going to the International Quilt Market this fall as one of my new patterns. The patterns will also be available thru Craftsy and Etsy.

Chain sewing my fast flying geese sections...

My center block is trimmed up and all of my pieces for the
border are ready to be sewn together.
